Statewide IT Policy and Standard Development

The CIO Policy Team (CPT) was created in February, 2006 to guide the development of Statewide Information Technology Policies and Standards. The team will use the recommendations contained in the Enterprise IT Management Audit to prioritize its workload. Deliverables will include information technology (IT) policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.

Deliverables will be implemented using a consistent process for the development, review, publishing and implementation of Enterprise IT policies, procedures, guidelines, standards and supporting documents. Deliverables will include requirements for ongoing measurement, criteria for compliance, methods of enforcement and maintenance.
