Enterprise Solutions Council
Enterprise Solutions Council (ESC) consists of state agency managers representing the executive, legislative and judicial branches. The ESC mission is "To lead the research, development and implementation of effective and efficient enterprise-wide business process solutions". As a part of this, a primary purpose of the council is to review opportunities for reengineering of the state's common business processes to facilitate cost savings and increased efficiency.
The ESC will review ideas that employees and others have regarding potential improvements to business processes. An "Issue Action Form" has been developed to collect ideas. The ESC encourages anyone who has an idea for improvement to complete a form and submit the idea.
The group was formalized by the issuing of an Agency Order by the Director of the Department of Administration and the appointment of members. An Executive Board governs the group. The Council has adopted operating procedures to govern its activities.
