Information Technology Board

The passage of Senate Bill 131 - HTML format (Senate Bill 131 - PDF format), effective July 1, 2001, establishes the Information Technology Board.

The board will provide a forum to guide state agencies, the legislative branch, the judicial branch, and local governments in the development and deployment of intergovernmental information technology resources. The board will also advise the Department of Administration on statewide information technology standards and policies, the state strategic information technology plan, major information technology budget requests, and rates and other charges for services established by the department.
