MLIA Grants

Each year the Department of Administratioin solicits grant proposals that meet the purpose of the Montana Land Information Act and the goals and objectives of the current year's Land Information Plan.  The grant applications are reviewed by a Subcommittee of the Montana Land Information Advisory Council, who prioritize the grants based on the grant criteria contained in the application and advise the State GIO as to their prioritization.  Based on the Subcommittee's advice, his own review, and the available amount of funding, the GIO decides which grants warrent funding.
