As of 1 October 2012, all enterprise IT policies have been revised and placed in the new Montana Operations Manual website (mom.mt.gov). After 1 October 2012, policies on this website are for historical reference only. This webpage and all of the policies in effect before 1 October 2012 will be deleted as of 15 February 2013.

Enterprise Information Systems Policy Instruments

This webpage serves as the distribution point for all enterprise information systems policy instruments that have been developed, approved, and implemented under the policy and standard provisions of §2-17-512 and §2-17-534, MCA. These include policies, standards, guidelines, white papers and miscellaneous documents.  Collectively, these documents are referred to as policy instruments. Guidelines provide guidance and are not mandatory.

Approved Instruments

Instruments listed are (1) approved and (2) in effect based on their individual effective date (also specified within each instrument).

Changes to these instruments can be requested via submission of a completed Action Request Form. 

Affected organizations may request exceptions to the requirements of these instruments via submission of a completed Exception Request Form.
