Site Rates
Use of the METNET Interactive video Conferencing System is governed by State of Montana Statute: only official agency business, including university system use, Office of Public Instruction, county/local government use, federal, military, and approved non-profit corporation (acting on or on behalf of a state agency) use is allowed on the system.
Pricing for a METNET video conference is made up of three components, as follows:
- Site Manage Fee - $15 per hour per METNET site.
- Network Charges
- $35 per site per hour for a 336 kbps conference,
- $37.50 per site per hour for a 384 kbps conference,
- $50 per site per hour for a 672 kbps conference, and
- $80 per site per hour for a 1344 kbps (Full T1) per hour conference.
- Miscellaneous charges, such as off network access, AT&T or SPRINT long distance video charges, codec/speed conversions, private room charges, bridge vendor charges, etc., where applicable.
As an example, a 384 kbps video call from Kalispell to Miles City would cost $105 per hour; made of up two site charges at $15, plus two $37.50 network charges.
